Roland ESM-VTV2 ViewThru Vinyl

Roland ESM-VTV2 is a specially designed 7 mil high-quality, durable and water-resistant calendered vinyl with a pressure-sensitive removable adhesive that has been punched with holes and is also white on the surface with a black backing allowing for viewing from one side making it ideal for vehicle window graphics. While the product images well, care should be taken to avoid over-saturation as ink wells in the holes. The hole configuration is 60/40, and the removable adhesive is designed to remove cleanly after 1 year. While not conformable to rivets and irregular curves or indentations, it is durable both laminated and unlaminated, although lamination (with an optically clear overlaminate film) is recommended for protection against abrasion and chemical deterioration as well as to keep the holes clear for viewability. Compatible with VersaCAMM, VersaArt and PRO III models.

Applications:
A variety of graphics for indoor and outdoor applications such as point-of-purchase window displays, general-purpose signage and vehicle graphics including bus wraps. This product is water-resistant and suited for outdoor applications, but should be laminated for extra protection against abrasion, dirt and solvents, but especially debris that gathers in the holes and makes the image unrecognizable. This vinyl is suitable for application to most regular surfaces, but the removable adhesive is not designed for optimal compatibility with PVC type substrates or excessively glossy surfaces. This vinyl should be laminated with high quality pressure-sensitive overlaminate films, particularly those designed for outdoor durability. Additionally, liquid laminates can be used, although testing a particular brand before application to the finished graphic is strongly recommended, as is care in handling the graphics after printing.
