Roland ESM-MCVP is a 4 mil matte calendered vinyl with a pressure-sensitive permanent adhesive that is durable and water-resistant. The excellent white point of this product along with a very low gloss level make it a very useful product for a variety of graphic applications that require extended indoor or outdoor life. Compatible with VersaCAMM, VersaArt and PRO III models.
Applications:
Full-color graphics for indoor and outdoor applications such as stickers and decals, point-of-purchase displays, and general-purpose signage. It is water-resistant and suited for outdoor applications, but should be laminated for extra protection against abrasion, dirt and solvents. This vinyl is suitable for application to most regular surfaces, and the permanent adhesive is designed for compatibility with a wide variety of surfaces, although testing a surface before application is highly recommended. We recommend dry application or testing of a wet application (dilution of soapy water with soap less than 5%). This vinyl should be laminated with high quality pressure-sensitive films, particularly those designed for outdoor durability (a cast vinyl film). Liquid laminates can be used, although testing a particular brand is strongly recommended, as is letting the graphic cure before applying the liquid. Many of the liquid laminates also require a cure time and should not be transfer tape.
