MACtac IMAGin® GRUV™ GVC929BFD is a 2.1 mil gloss white, soft calendered PVC printable vinyl film with opaque B•free™ air egress adhesive technology on a 98# polycoated liner that is designed for long-term outdoor vehicle markings on flat, curved, complex, riveted surfaces. . Use of Permacolor® ColorGard® overlaminates will extend the life of the graphic.

GVC929BFD is intended for wide format, eco-solvent, solvent-based and UV-cured inkjet printing To achieve the best possible print quality, please make sure that the correct ICC profiles or printer settings are used. Profiles can be downloaded from www.mactac.com/graphics . Printer and heater settings and ICC profiles can also be downloaded from some O.E.M. or software manufacturer’s websites.

Durability: The outdoor durability of the unprinted film is 9 years. Digitally printed and laminated graphics have a durability of up to 5 years and UV screen printed and UV clear-coated graphics have a durability of up to 6 years. Overlamination of the inkjet-printed material with Permacolor RAYZor overlaminates delays color fading that may occur over time. This color fading is mainly dependent upon the inks quality (see technical data sheets given by the ink manufacturers) and pressure sensitive media being used.

Removability: Some substrates are affected by the application of the GV929BFD such as acrylic glass, polycarbonate, polystyrene, nitro-cellulose paints and plasticized PVC’s. Besides damaging the substrate, removal could be difficult.
