Clearstar Clearshield

A water-based Liquid Laminate for non water-sensitive ink/media combinations or solvent based inks. ClearShield® is an inexpensive way to protect your prints, signs, vehicle graphics, banners, awnings and other products from UV, abrasion and chemical damage. It is an easy to apply clear coating and does not require extensive equipment.

Twenty (20) Degree Satin LL is excellent for wallpaper application.

Matte LL is excellent for theater and televison backdrops.

Clearstar Clearshield Anti Graffiti Gloss

ClearShield® Anti-Graffiti is a two-component, water-based Liquid Laminate with excellent chemical resistance. It is well suited for high performance applications where hardness, flexibility and abrasion resistance is required. ClearShield Anti-Graffiti is very easy to apply using all application techniques. Roller, Spray or Automated Equipment. Must be used with activator CX-100. theater and televison backdrops.

Clearstar Clearshield CX-100 Crosslinker

CX-100 is the cross linking agent for ClearShield Anti-Graffiti. When activating Anti-Graffiti Clear a full gallon requires 114 mL or 4 ounces of CX-100. Once activated the material has a pot life of 4 - 6 hours and will gel after that time. Be certain to clean spray guns quickly, and only activate what you will use. Anti-Graffiti CANNOT be reactivated.

Clearstar Clearshield Type C

ClearShield® Type C is a water-based coating ideal for Giclee canvas applications. Type C exhibits the flexibility required for stretching canvas with no cracking of the clear coat. It is formulated to work on micro porous and porous ink jet receptive layers. Type C reduces or eliminates pinholes normally encountered when applying Liquid Laminates to ink jet coated canvas. Type C is formulated for water resistant canvas only and is used with pigmented inks. ClearShield Type C can be applied with most application techniques including automated equipment.

Clearstar ClearJet Fine Art Aerosol

ClearJet® Aerosol is a solvent-based Liquid Laminate for dye-based inks and water-sensitive ink / media combinations. ClearJet is an inexpensive way to protect your fine art prints and photographic output. It is an easy to apply clear coating and does not require extensive equipment. FA (Fine Art) series is made to penetrate the canvas, making the ink/media combination more flexible. It does not cause discoloration or color shifts and does not react with the ink jet receptive layer of most fine art canvas.
