Piezo Certified Inkjet Media (PCM)

Roland PCM Heat Transfer Tissue

These tissues offer protection to heat transfer material for heat pressing (see description of PCM-HTM Opaque Heat Transfer Material). They can be re-used for multiple transfers. Packaged 100 sheets per box, these are an accessory item and not a printable material.

Roland PCM Opaque Heat Transfer Material

This unique coated garment transfer material is an opaque white media designed to be print and cut for heat transfer to light or dark garments, either cotton or cotton blend. Graphics are simply printed right-reading, placed on the garment and heat pressed using a transfer tissue or Teflon pad over the graphic (adhesive transfer tapes do not typically work well). Finished transfers offer terrific color with good handling. This media works with all ink types, and should be printed without heat.

Roland PCM Double-Side Matte Paper

This 170 gsm product is coated on both sides for ease of use, especially when mounting and lamination are required. Duplex printing is also possible, but care should be taken to minimize roll curl. This media offers good opacity along with an excellent white point at an affordable price, and is suitable for many types of low-density image applications. This material prints best with aqueous inks.

Roland PCM 150 Gram Heavy Matte Paper

This product is heavyweight and affordable, and an excellent choice for color graphics applications including posters, point of purchase displays, trade show and board room graphics. The high opacity and exceptional white point, along with this product's ability to handle heavy ink load, assure a quality reproduction. When lamination or encapsulation is part of the application, this premium matte product can reduce your cost with very little loss in image quality. This material prints well with pigment and mild solvent inks.

Roland PCM Photobase Semi-Gloss Paper

This medium-weight microporous-coated photobase paper has a good white point and lustrous gloss level for a wide variety of graphic applications. This paper is fairly instant dry to the touch and laminates well, but care should be used in handling to avoid surface abrasion. This material was developed for use with aqueous inks.

Roland PCM Water-Fast Backlit Film

This backlit film offers vibrant color at an affordable cost-per-square-foot for dye or pigment ink printing. It performs very well in conventional backlit applications and its water-resistant [water-fast] properties allow it to be used for some outdoor applications without concern for print deterioration from condensation. This product is designed to be reverse-imaged on the second surface and therefore, requires no lamination for standard backlit applications. It can also be mounted and laminated with high-quality pressure-sensitive adhesives.

Roland PCM Indoor Wet-Strength Banner Material

This latex and nylon-fiber reinforced paper is durable enough to allow for hemming and grommeting. This water-resistant [water-fast] product is excellent for indoor use at trade shows, in meeting rooms and for retail displays. It is an excellent, affordable alternative for temporary outdoor event banners. This material prints well with all ink types.

Roland PCM Banner Material Tyvek®

This Tyvek-base material is water-resistant, lightweight, and outdoor durable for 3-6 months depending on mounting and weather conditions. It is easily hemmed and grommeted, and is excellent for all types of event banners. Its high white point characteristics also make it suitable for high-quality retail display applications.

Roland PCM Outdoor PVC Scrim Banner

Based on a standard PVC scrim banner vinyl, this product is coated on one side to be Piezo Certified. This media is extremely durable, and exhibits an excellent white point and exceptional image quality. PVC scrim can be hemmed and grommeted and offers a water-resistant [water-fast] solution for outdoor applications of 6-12 months, depending on weather and environmental conditions and the specifics of mounting.

Roland PCM Matte Artist Canvas - 7 oz.

This medium weight matte topcoated cotton/polyester blend canvas offers an excellent white point and images well in a variety of print modes. It is designed to be dry to the touch immediately after printing, and offers exceptional water-resistant properties and excellent longevity and durability. Auto sheet cutting is not recommended with this media.

Roland PCM Water-Fast Matte Vinyl

This water-resistant adhesive-back vinyl is a 3.5 mil calendered vinyl with a semi-permanent adhesive. This product exhibits very good image quality and the matte surface eliminates glare. Ideally suited for long-term indoor and medium-term outdoor applications, it will provide outdoor durability of 3-6 months without lamination. Not recommended for application over rivets, irregular curves or indentations.

Performance Guaranteed Inkjet Media (PGM)

Roland PGM Premium Matte Warranted Vinyl, Permanent Adhesive

This premium-quality 3.4 mil matte adhesive-back vinyl has a permanent adhesive and is designed for a variety of graphic applications requiring long-term adhesive durability. It images well in a variety of print modes, but is not conformable to rivets and irregular curves or indentations. It is warranted with pigment inks for 6 months outdoors without lamination and for up to 50 months outdoors with the appropriate overlaminate film. Please refer to the warranty documentation for specifics of the warranty coverage.

Roland PGM Translucent White Film

This unique film is a hybrid of matte white film and traditional backlit film with an improved topcoat for indoor and outdoor durability. It is a heavyweight 9 mil film designed to be front print and displayed either front lit or backlit for a variety of display and trade show graphic applications. This material prints well with all ink types, has an excellent indoor and outdoor longevity with pigment or mild solvent inks, and should be mounted and laminated with high-quality solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives (if the adhesive makes contact with the printed surface).

This premium-quality 2 mil vinyl overlaminate film is the perfect solution for all types of indoor and outdoor applications. It offers generous flexibility with a high gloss finish for maximum impact. Performance is guaranteed for up to 60 months outdoors depending on the ink type used, either Roland pigment or mild solvent inks. This is a pressure-sensitive film that is very durable and flexible, and is therefore suitable for laminating all other Roland media for added protection and durability.

This specially embossed 7 mil overlaminate film offers a textured matte finish for floor graphics or any indoor graphics requiring a unique textured finish that simulates the look of polycarbonate film. It offers durable surface protection and is indemnified for slip-resistance. This is a pressure-sensitive film that is suitable for laminating adhesive-back vinyl as well as other Roland media for added protection and durability.

This beautiful low-gloss photobase paper has an excellent white point and wide color gamut for stunning photo-realistic quality output. It is a very smooth 10 mil paper that holds a well-defined dot and offers water-resistance along with an exceptionally quick dry time. This material was developed for use with aqueous inks.

If the Hi-Fi JET has a signature media, this is it. Brilliant white film with exceptional dot definition for highest resolution printing makes this a must for photography and high profile presentations. Additionally, the product is water-resistant [water-fast] and exhibits quick dry properties although care should be taken when handling the product. This material was developed for use with aqueous inks.

Roland PQM Super Hi Gloss White Vinyl

This brilliant white, water-resistant [water-fast] glossy vinyl is ideally suited for high-profile indoor graphics applications. Lamination with a high quality pressure-sensitive cast vinyl overlaminate is necessary to provide adequate UV, scratch and abrasion resistance for most types of outdoor applications. The product is not suitable for use on irregular surfaces. This product features a semi-permanent adhesive and has a silver back-coating to block light. Exceptional dot definition means exceptional print quality. This material was developed for use with aqueous inks.

Roland PQM Concorde Rag Fine Art Paper, Natural White

This was the first coated fine art paper specifically engineered for a wide-format inkjet printer and the image quality is truly impressive. The 100% cotton fiber mould-made paper features a beautiful texture and at 256 gsm (grams per square meter), has a quality feel. The paper is pH neutral, acid-free and lignin-free. The natural white paper contains no optical brighteners and contains calcium carbonate as filler. The product is water-resistant when used with our pigment inks. Print permanence testing (measured at 450 lux simulating gallery conditions) conducted by Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc. Grinnell, Iowa, determined that expected print life is between 120-130 years.

Roland PQM Concorde Rag Fine Art Paper, Bright White

This was our second coated fine art paper specifically engineered for a wide-format inkjet printer and once again, the image quality is truly impressive. The 100% cotton fiber mould-made paper features a beautiful texture and is pH neutral, acid-free and lignin-free. This 256 gsm product is water-resistant when used with our pigment inks. Print permanence testing yielded results comparable to the Concorde Rag Natural White paper.

Sublimation Certified Media (SBM)

Roland SBM HeatWave Sublimation Paper

This 120-gram paper is an excellent high quality product for consistent and brilliant sublimation transfers. It is heavier weight and specially formulated with anti-cockle properties so it works exceptionally well with sublimation inks. It also has a high ink limit to handle full coverage images with maximum ink transfer. This media works best with sublimation inks and is not recommended for other ink types.
