Statham, GA (April 27, 2008) – Cunningham Motorsports announced today that they have selected ARCA RE/MAX Driver Nick Tucker to pilot the #59 Dodge Motorsports Dodge Charger for the Carolina 500K at the Rockingham Raceway Park. Tucker who resides in Kannapolis, North Carolina is originally from Bremerton, Washington. Nick is an aero test driver and employed by Gillette Evernham Motorsports. He has seven starts in the ARCA REMAX Series with a top ten finish and has competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with five starts to his resume.

“Cunningham Motorsports is proud to have Nick Tucker as a part of our team for this event. Nick had a good test at Rockingham and the combination of both driving and engineering expertise should allow him to be very competitive. We are proud to have Nick and his sponsors on board the #59 at Rockingham,” said team owner Kerry Scherer.

Crew Chief Barry Owen stated, “Nick will be able to share and receive information with teammates Tayler Malsam and Michael Phelps. I am looking forward to going back to Rockingham; it should be a good weekend for the whole team.”

The Carolina 500K from Rockingham Raceway Park, North Carolina will be Live on SPEED TV Sunday May 4, 2008 at Noon.
